RSNA To Host Expert Panel on Cultivating a Diverse Radiology Workforce

Webinar will focus on actionable steps to increase diversity and inclusion

RSNA will hold an online panel discussion on the importance of creating a diverse radiology workforce. This hour-long webinar will take place on Thursday, June 24 at noon (Central). Registration is required and participants can earn 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

The webinar will focus on the actionable steps every radiologist can take—regardless of position—to actively cultivate a more inclusive and diverse workplace. The panel will include leaders experienced in private practice, departmental leadership, international and state leadership and professional society leadership.

Participants are encouraged to submit their questions in advance for faculty to address during the panel discussion.

The event will be moderated by Lucy B. Spalluto, MD, MPH, associate professor and vice chair of health equity in the Department of Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

  • Gwendolyn Bryant-Smith, MD, chief of breast imaging and the breast imaging fellowship director at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock
  • Meridith J. Englander, MD, associate professor, Albany Medical College, New York
  • Anand Narayan, MD, PhD, assistant professor of radiology, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston
  • Charlotte Yong-Hing, MD, medical director, breast imaging at BC Cancer and medical practice lead, radiography and fluoroscopy for Lower Mainland Medical Imaging, Vancouver
